He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Cortina and Maria Zangrilli Cortina; and his brother-in-law Richard Naylor. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Markut (Frank), Dennis Cortina and Kevin Cortina; his grandchildren, David Cortina and Erin Markut; his caregiver Dianne Camella; and his sisters, Nancy Bassani (Vincent), Silvia Cortina and Elsie Naylor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
