It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Hope Pilla (Milford, Connecticut), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Patrick; her daughter Mary; her sister Jane; and her father Gerald. She is survived by: her children, Patricia, Daniel, Deborah, Milford and Janice Pilla Civitello (Frank Civitello); her grandchildren, Kristen Porac (Matthew), Sarah Warecke (Ben Green), Douglas Richards (Kiki), Amanda Richards, Alexander Volpi (Johanna) and Maximilian Volpi; her stepgrandsons, Frank and Jake Civitello; her great grandchildren, Oliver Green (Jasmine), Maxwell, Madison and Myles Porac; and her sister Barbara Ann Martin.
