Thomas left this world on February 17, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia O'Donnell (Lyons); his children, Tom O'Donnell, Sarah Hughes (Justin), John O'Donnell (Jen) and Bridget Daeschner (Brian); his grandchildren, Libby, Annie, Jeffrey Hughes and Charlie Daeschner; his brother John O'Donnell (Cathy); his brothers-in-law, Dave Lyons (Kathy), Bob Lyons (Nancy) and Chris Lyons (Nadine Funteral); his parents, John "Jack" O'Donnell and Ann O'Donnell; and his grandmother Molly. He was also cherished by eight nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cody-White Funeral Home (107 Broad St, Milford, CT 06460). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary Church - Milford (70 Gulf St, Milford, CT 06460).
