It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Theresa Konopka of Milford, Connecticut, born in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward F. Konopka; her parents, Stanley Szurnicki and Frances Szurnicki (Trazko); and her son Edward M. Konopka. She is survived by: her grandchildren, James Konopka (Stephenie) of Swanzey, NH and Cheryl Gowlis (Jared) of Shelton; her great grandchildren, Sophie, Julia, Benjamin Konopka and Jack Gowlis; her daughter-in-law Claudia Konopka of Shelton; and her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Prezioso of Milford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
