He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Anne Blaikie Sherrick; and his parents, Frank Sherrick and Alva Sherrick. He is survived by: his siblings, Howard, Frank, Herbert, Alva, Norma and Doris; his stepfather James Hurter; and his children, Barbara Austin (Thomas George), Robert Jr. (Susan), William (Sharon), Gary (Tammy), Scott and James (Nicole).
