He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter H. Oliver Sr. and Mary CapaBianco Oliver; and his siblings, Peter Oliver Jr., Mary Lou Filanowski and Patricia Campbell.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brotherton Oliver; his children, Deborah Oliver Clifford (James), Kevin Oliver (Lori), Maureen Oliver Gerardi (David), Robert Oliver Jr. (Sharon) and Patrick Oliver (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Molly, Ashley, Kaitlin, Kristin, Morgan, Connor, Griffin, Casey, Taylor, Hailey and Brooke; his great grandchildren, Colby, Teddy and Miles; his siblings, Ernest Oliver (Penny) and Margaret Wendel (Calvin); and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
