She was predeceased by: her grandmother Rita; her parents, Michele Mollica and Maria Mollica (Mariani); her husband Pierino Fratarcangeli; and her sisters, Pietrina Mollica and Francesca Lunghi.
She is survived by: her children, Michele Benedosso (Anthony), Rose Baird (Jeffery) of Milford and Carlo P. Fratarcangeli (Teri) of Stamford, CT.; her grandchildren, Courtney Baird Asilvera (Rony), Lauren Baird, Kiley Anne Baird, Anthony Benedosso (Samke), Michael Benedosso (Mariel), Patrick Benedosso (Jessica), LaRue Brown and Roman Pierino Fratarcangeli; her great grandchildren, Jack Greene, Gabriella Asilvera, Sophia Terentiuk, Eliana, Lucca, Livia and Enzo Benedosso; and her sisters, Marisa Liburdi and Palma Piselli.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary Church (70 Gulf St, Milford, CT 06460). An entombment was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Saint Michael Cemetery (2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford, CT 06615).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Rita's memory to Saint Mary's Church (Precious Blood Parish), and The Connecticut Hospice https://www.hospice.com.
