Kemp Sr. of Milford, Connecticut, born in Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cameron Kemp and Bertha Zwolinski Kemp Bronson; his siblings, John J. Kemp and Jean Crowley; and his nieces, Kathy Confinante and Nancy Golino.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Kemp (Still); his children, Richard P. Kemp Jr., Robert F. Kemp (Toni) of Milford, Deborah A. Kuraczea and Patricia M. Cardella of Orange; his grandchildren, Richard Smith (Christie), Renee Fournier, Gary Menna Jr., Jessica Cardella (Mark), Alicia Valenti (Nicholas), Christopher Scrivines (Tracey), Daniel Scrivines (Alissa) and Amy Scrivines; his great grandchildren, Noah Scrivines, Angelina Scrivines, Geno Borrero, William Rodgers III, Jackson, Henry Smith, Skyler, Emma McCormack and Derek Scrivines; and his siblings-in-law, James Crowley of Ansonia, Diana Mitchell, Debra Taylor (Randy) and Ella Newsome. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grand pups.
