He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Maffei and Grace Maffei; and his siblings, Dominica "Margie" Sbrocco, John, Vincent "Jimmy" and Nicholas.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette Schettini-Maffi; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Maffei, Joyce O'Keefe, Carl Schettini and Robert Schettini (Gina); his nieces and nephews, Henry (Rose), John (Helen), Nicholas, Grace (Rob), Bruce, Elizabeth (Tom), Robert (Tina), Peter (Tracy), Diana (Jeff), Ashley (Peter) and Nicole (Thomas); and his friend Elaine Tracy. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, extended family.
