He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred McCarthy and Jean McCarthy (VanEttan); and his brother Van Scott McCarthy. He is survived by: his spouse Terry J. McCarthy (Peschell) of Milford; his son Casey A. McCarthy of Milford; his sister Judy McCarthy of Averille Park; and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Peschell of Kentucky, Wendy Nasworthy of Hawaii and Lynn Schrag of Montana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
