He was predeceased by: his mother Rose Mary Murphy (Hoehne); and his nephew Xavier Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Karen Karpie; his father Robert Murphy; his children, Katie Hayward of Milford and Daniel Murphy (Ally) of Fairfield; his grandchildren, Max, Leo, Vivian Hayward, Ava, Nora and Riley Murphy; and his siblings, Vincent Murphy (Debbie) of Caledonia, IL, Joseph Murphy (Jill) of Valrico, FL, David Murphy (Marcia) of Anderson, IN and Mary Ann Cox (Gregg) of Rockford, IL..

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cody-White Funeral Home (107 Broad St, Milford, CT 06460). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary Church - Milford (70 Gulf St, Milford, CT 06460). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at the Saint Mary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, anyone so inclined may donate to the following causes supported by Kevin: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; World Central Kitchen; or Doctors Without Borders.
