We bid farewell to John L. Nevin of Milford, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 27, 2024 at the age of 79. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eurana Nevin and John L. Nevin Sr.; and his sisters, Pauline and Carol. He is survived by: his girlfriend Judy Nunes; his daughter Kristin Nevin; his grandchildren, Arielle Hextall and Zachary Lebreiro; and his pet Rudder. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
John's contributions to the sailing community left a lasting impact, and one of his proudest accomplishments was returning to Milford with a First-place finish after competing at Key West Race Week.
