With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John F. DiMatteo of Milford, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on February 3, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis DiMatteo and Muriel Watkyns DiMatteo; his brother Louis DiMatteo; and his brother-in-law Robert Andrechak. He is survived by: his wife Violet D'Amico; his sons, Michael J. DiMatteo of Milford and David J. DiMatteo (Erica) of Stratford; and his siblings-in-law, Eleanor Andrechak of Shelton and Daniel D'Amico of Vermont. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Connecticut Hospice of Branford.
