He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel DeSousa and Maria DeSousa (Ribeiro). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl DeSousa (Arsenault); his children, Mary Arsenault (Stephen) of Stratford, Tanya Meyers of Antonia, Steven Meyers (Jen) of Oxford, John DeSousa (Allison) of Middletown, Tiffany DeSousa (Aleks) of Naugatuck and Felicia DeSousa (Josh) of Milford; his siblings, Manuel DeSousa (Margaret) of West Haven, Edward DeSousa (Linda) of Orange and Linda Ericson (Alan) of Trumbull; and his goddaughter Rachel Arsenault of Georgia. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
