He was predeceased by: his parents, James Perry Patchell Sr. and Marion Holleran Patchell; and his brother Gary John Patchell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his children, James P. Patchell III (Cara) and Erin Marie Patchell; and his grandson Sawyer Patchell.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cody-White Funeral Home (107 Broad St, Milford, CT 06460).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jim's memory can be made to the Milford Elks Lodge 1589 by check to "Milford Elks #1589" and mailed to: 124 New Haven Avenue, Milford CT 06460.
