He was predeceased by: his grandson Vincent Fortin; and his siblings, Catherine Jesselli, Pauline Rizzo, Nicholas, Frank, Jack, Leonard and Anthony Nicoletti.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald J. Nicoletti Jr. (Betsey) of Branford, Carmel Latella of Orange, Carole Kish (David) of Orange and Marie Fortin (Edward) of Guilford. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
