George Andrew Ambriscoe Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Andrew Ambriscoe Jr. (Milford, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ambriscoe Sr. and Anne Ambriscoe (Guarneri); and his siblings, Richard Ambriscoe and Barbara Ambriscoe. He is survived by: his siblings, Rose Marie Ambriscoe of Milford and Michael (Evelyn); his nephew Keith Ambriscoe (Samantha Miller) of New Britain, CT; his niece Jacqueline Hagner (Richard Hagner) of Alexandria, VA; his godson Vaughan (Sheri Dumas); and also Vaughan Jr. of Orange, CT.. He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cody-White Funeral Home (107 Broad St, Milford, CT 06460). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Saint Mary Church - Milford (70 Gulf St, Milford, CT 06460). The military honors was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Kings Highway Cemetery (271 Cherry St, Milford, CT 06460).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Camp Happiness to honor George's devotion to their cause. Checks can be made payable to: Camp Happiness: Milford Rec.
