Frank A. Downey Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank A. Downey of Milford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frank A. Downey to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Downey and Mildred Mannix Downey; and his sister Mary Drohan. He is survived by: his wife Augusta "Dusty" Downey; his children, Kenneth (Nancy), Rick, Diane (Walter) and Chris (Tracey); his grandchildren, Laura, Christine, Sara, Patrick, Ryan, Braden, Amanda, Michael, Matthew, Gary, Jessica and Austin; and his great grandchildren, Zoey and Hailey.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary Church - Milford (70 Gulf St, Milford, CT 06460). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in Frank's memory may be sent to Notre Dame High School to support the Downey Family Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to deserving students with demonstrated need.
