With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cynthia I Mitchell of Milford, Connecticut, who passed away on March 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Cynthia find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Opdenbrouw and Martha Opdenbrouw. She is survived by: her husband Warren O. Mitchell; her children, Janice Mitchell of Milford, CT and Keith Mitchell; and her grandson Justin Griffin-Mitchell.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home (291 Bridgeport Ave, Milford, CT 06460). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers or other memorial offerings, donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
