She was predeceased by: her husband Alexander Salanto; her parents, Walter Carson and Rachel Carson (Fossi); and her sister Laura. She is survived by: her daughters, Kristen L. Sampson of Milford and Tracey Knapp (Jeff Johnson) of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Thomas, Charles Sampson, Zander Knapp, Rylee and Addison Johnson; and her siblings, Florence Lewis, Irene Thibodeau, Lin Carson, Arlene, Lillian, Carol, Dorothy, Mildred, William and Walter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
