He was predeceased by: his siblings, Reinhold, Theodore, Rudolph and Alma. He is survived by: his wife Janet Chadbourne Manthay; his daughters, Diane M. Gentile of Middletown and Dr. Nancy M. Mackowsky (Richard Mackowsky) of North Carolina; and his grandchildren, Heather, David, Emma and Evan.
