He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley J. Gecewicz Sr. and Catherine Gecewicz (Jasion). He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald Gecewicz (Margo) of Wallingford, Julie D'Orio (Jay) of Cromwell, Marcia Vecca (Tony) of East Hampton, Laura Blicharz (Lester) of East Hartford, John Gecewicz (Elizabeth) of Margate, Lucille Gecewicz and Donna Gecewicz of Newington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Biega Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of Czestochowa Church (79 S Main St, Middletown, CT 06457).
