She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Sessoms and Doris Sessoms (White); her son Terrance Sessoms; and her boyfriend Theodore "Big Boy" Freeman, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Ja-Kese Sessoms (Sarah Lowrey) of Middletown; her siblings, Michael Haynes of Middletown, Iris Ann Turner of Harrellsville, NC and Sheila Newsome (Bill) of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Taquanis Sessoms, Yaamal Jackson, Nicholas Correa, Amalia Sessoms and Kiara Sessoms; and her pets, Loyalty and Monster. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doolittle Funeral Home (14 Old Church St, Middletown, CT 06457).
