With solemn reverence, we commemorate Sebastiana Gianni of Middletown, Connecticut, whose life came to an end on October 31, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vincenzo Gianni; her parents, Santo Bartolotta and Vincenza Bartolotta (Marino); her son Thomas Gianni; her granddaughter Kristin Gianni of Wading River, NY.; and her brother-in-law Paolo Gianni.
She is survived by: her caregiver Liz; her sons, Vincent Gianni Jr. of Southington and David Gianni of Cromwell; her daughter-in-law Lisa Gianni; her grandsons, Nicholas and Michael; her daughter-in-law Karen Gianni; her grandson Zachary of Wading River, NY.; her siblings, Sebastiano Bartolotta (Nella), Annette DiMauro (late Salvatore), Emanuel Bartolotta (Janet), Salvatore Bartolotta and Angela Sharpe (Thomas); and her siblings-in-law, Elena Gianni, Giuseppe Gianni and Anna Gianni (Sicily) of Melilli. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saint Sebastian's Church (155 Washington St, Middletown, CT 06457). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna's memory to the Saint Sebastian's Renovation Fund or to a charity of choice.
