He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Staples and Anna Staples Avery (Jogus); his son Brian; and his siblings, Betty Ann Woltman and Arthur Staples.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Staples (Woollacott); his children, Daniel Staples and Wendy Ollari; his grandchildren, Sarah, Mike, Jamie, Jen and John; and his siblings, Sharon Ramer, Fred Staples, Bruce Avery and Joan Measimer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Biega Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457). A prayer will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
