She is survived by: her close friend Magdalene; her sibling-in-law Eara; her daughter Vanessa; her son-in-law Shawn Strickland of Middletown, CT.; her children, Kellee Adams of Florence, Duane Adams of Bronx, NY and Derrick Adams of Florence, SC.; her sisters, Renetta Jenkins Watson of Charleston, SC. and Linda Williams of Middletown, CT.; her grandchildren, Shavonna, Sharoyd, Shawn Jr., Jayda, Keianna and Janiyah; her nieces and nephews, Peggy Jenkins, Tammy Williams, Stephanie Ortiz, Sandra Jenkins, Dennis Jenkins and Rev. Johnny Jenkins; her sister Rosa Lee Brown; and her nieces and nephews, Sonya Jenkins, Paul Frierson and Maxie Jenkins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Baptist Church (16 James A Moses Ave, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
