It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Monarca of Middletown, Connecticut, who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl G. Monarca Sr.; her parents, Emilio Pellici and Isola Pellici; her brothers, Mario Pellici and Gene Pellici (Lynn); and her siblings-in-law, Morgan Monarca (Rose), Joseph Monarca (Esther), Angelina Milardo (Nick), Salvatore Monarca (Josephine) and Jack Monarca (Lilian).
She is survived by: her children, Carl Monarca Jr. (Rose), Jean Mozdziesz (Edward) and Carla Martin; and her grandchildren, Carl S. Monarca, Luke Monarca, Selena Lopez, Jamie Tessmer, Christopher Russo (Emily), Katie Needleman (Matt), Lauren Leiblein (Kyle), Lauren Marino (Dan), Michelle Galanto, Marie Galanto and William Martin. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Sebastian's Church.
