He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelard Rochette and Esther Rochette (Coleman); his daughters, Valerie and Dawn; and his siblings, James Rochette Sr., Marion Young, Gloria Fitch and Burton Rochette.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rochette (Milardo); his sons, Jon (Lynn Rochette) of Colchester and Mark (Rachel Rochette) of Berlin; his stepchildren, Scott (Cherie Spada) of Middletown and Denise Spada of Middletown; his grandchildren, Pamela (Christopher Luisi), Adam Rochette, Makayla (Mark Szilagyi), Katie Rochette, Abbie Rochette, Brianna DeAngelis, Hannah Spada and Brendan Spada; his siblings, Ronald (Sue Rochette), Gail Rochette of Deep River, Karen (David Greaves) of Cromwell and Sue (Tom Healy) of East Haddam; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Hassell of Middletown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Meriden Lions Club.
