It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche Guimond of Middletown, Connecticut, born in Salem, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Armand Guimond; her parents, Lionel Bernier and Gertrude Bernier (Sauvé); and her siblings, Anita, Ernest "Joe", Lillian, Lucienne "Lucy" and Normand.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Guimond (Doreen) of Uncasville, Brian Guimond (Judy) of Norwich and Gail Shefcyk (Dean) of Killingworth. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Biega Funeral Home (3 Silver St, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
