Barbara Baker Smallshaw Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Baker Smallshaw of Middletown, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 13, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Bielefield and Frances Bielefield; her former husband Earl Smallshaw; and her daughter Sharon Smallshaw Appelman. She is survived by: her brother Arthur; her spouse Middletown High; her pets, Brandy and Sarah; her sister Carolyn Bielefield Bauer; her children, Susan Still (Ross) of West Kingston, RI, Sally Taiman (Ed) of Willington, CT, Steven Smallshaw (Mari) of Lynchburg, VA and Scott Smallshaw of Clinton, CT; and her son-in-law Wade Appelman of Santa Barbara, CA. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
