It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred Simonzi of Middlefield, Connecticut, born in Middletown, Connecticut, who passed away on November 1, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John F. Simonzi; her parents, Lewis Griffith and Beatrice Griffith (Carswell); her former husband Ronald L. Holcomb; and her sister Geraldine Sienkiewicz.
She is survived by: her niece Lisa; her friends, Jim, Joyce Dowling and Gloria Gagnon; her son Steven Holcomb (Karen) of Moodus; her brother Frederick Griffith (Nancy) of Southington; her nieces and nephews, Michael Sienkiewicz (Lisa) of East Hampton, Kevin Griffith (Cathy) of Higganum, Kelly Forsyth (Jim) of Seymour and Linda Sienkiewicz (Marina) of Marlborough; and her stepchildren, Michael Simonzi (BJ), Mark Simonzi, Nina Shorey and Donna Sewall. She is also survived by nieces, step nephews and step grandchildren.
