It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Winkel of Middlebury, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Winkel and Eleanor Winkel (Camarro) of Stratford; his children, Joshua Winkel of Waterbury and Samantha Winkel (Natalie DiDente) of Allston, MA; his grandsons, Brian and Patrick; his brother Eric Winkel of Seymour; and the mother of his children Gloria Gliford (Carbery) of Oxford.
