Chiarella Sr. of Waterbury; his brother Gregory J. Peterson of Danbury; his grandfather Joseph Cartiglia of Coeur; his stepsiblings, Michael T. Chiarella Jr. of Louisville, KY and Marissa Chiarella of Westchester, NY; and his significant other Natalie Rivas-Luna of Waterbury. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
