It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barton Goodeve (Middlebury, Connecticut), who passed away on August 23, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roger Grant Goodeve and Lucy Dean Goodeve of Middlebury Connecticut; his great-great-grandparents, Colonel William T. Nichols, Commander, Infantry and Charge; his children, Christine and Scott Luby; his former wife Lesley Arnold; his daughters, Piper Goodeve-Vaughan (Gabriel) of Brooklyn and Anne Griffin (Bill) of Williamsburg, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Hattie Jane and Walter Ulysses Griffin; his siblings, Grant MacKenzie Goodeve (Debbie) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Thyrza Nichols Goodeve of Brooklyn Heights; and also President Ulysses S. Grant. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
