She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick N. Hardwick; her parents, Harry Platt and Hulda Platt (Wilson); and her siblings, Chester A. Platt and Vivian Emma Tarbox.
She is survived by: her former husband Clarence E. Pierce; her children, Byron E. Pierce (Dorothy) of Middlebury, Dorian Platt Hardwick of Cambridge, MA and Debra Nelson Hardwick-Witman of Portsmouth, NH; her grandchildren, Byron Ethan Pierce (Hartford), Brett Eric Pierce (Kristina) of Southbury, Elias Drew Hardwick-Witman of Boston, MA and Haley Nelson Hardwick-Witman of Providence, RI; and her great grandchildren, Alana Eve Pierce, Chloe Mae Pierce of Southbury and Ruby Grace Pierce.
