He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Wessman and Charlotte Goff Wessman. He is survived by: his wife Theresa H. Wessman; his son James Wessman; his siblings, Bob Wessman (Pam) of Bristol and Charleen Poglitsch (Edward) of Wallingford; his nieces and nephews, Amy Wessman Pelletier (Todd) of Southington, Carrie Wessman Huber (Kevin) of Wolcott, Laurie Jambor (Andrew) of Wallingford, Scott Poglitsch of Berlin and Brian Poglitsch (Ashley) of Wallingford; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gavin, McKenna, Abigail, Ben, Camryn, Natalie, Hailey and Carter; and also, Anne Olson (Gar), Dr. Joseph Hanley (Patricia), Peter Hanley (Toni), Gerrie Hammar, Katherine Brewster (Martin), Mary E. Hanley and Sarah Triano.
