He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Korabel and Anna Korabel (Splawinska). He is survived by: his wife Maria Korabel (Pawelczak); and his cousin Halina Dziedzic of New Britain. He is also survived by family members in New York, many good friends and neighbors and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes (332 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06053). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Burritt Hill Funeral Home (332 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06053). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church (303 Eddy Glover Blvd, New Britain, CT 06053).
