She was predeceased by: her spouse Francis J. Walter; her parents, John T. Looby and Gertrude V. Looby (Lynch); her daughter-in-law Diana Walter; her brother John T. Looby; and her great grandchild Scott Niland.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel W. Niland, Peter D. Walter and Sarah J. Walter; her grandchildren, Scott Niland (Kara), Christina Risk-Adams (Seph), Caroline W. Chaparro (George), Emily M. Walter, Erin E. Gavrish (David) and Lindsay F. DelGrego (Daniel Chiofalo); her great grandchildren, Ean, Layla, Madeline, Nicholas, Clara and Bailey; her sister Rosemary Lemke (Joseph); and her sister-in-law Claire Veater. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Yalesville Funeral Home (386 Main St, Yalesville, CT 06492). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (382 Hope Hill Rd, Wallingford, CT 06492).
