In loving memory of Samuel D. Clemons of Meriden, Connecticut, born in Martin, Tennessee, who departed this world on October 27, 2024 at the age of 90. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Samuel may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Clemons and Lavern Palmer; his grandmother Della Burse; his children, Tyrone Clemons and Valerie Roberson; and his sister Zella Mae Bradbury.
He is survived by: his children, Marvin Trotman (Norma) of Portsmouth, VA, Robert Clemons (Patricia) of Lima, OH, Robbie Clemons of Meriden, CT, Anthony Clemons of Long Beach, CA and Samuel K. Clemons of Meriden, CT. He is also survived by his 21 grandchildren, and 44 great and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Hebron Baptist Church (84 Franklin St, Meriden, CT 06450).
