It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberto E. Mateo Lora (Meriden, Connecticut), who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Roberto is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parent Tirso H. Mateo. He is survived by: his mother Elsa Yolanda Lora of Meriden; and his siblings, Rolando, Freyra, Tirso, Jose and Jenny Mateo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John J. Ferry & Sons, Inc. (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at the Walnut Grove Cemetery (817 Old Colony Rd, Meriden, CT 06451).
