With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis M. Vitale of Meriden, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on October 17, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew M. Vitale; her parents, Frank Silvestro and Ann Marie Catania Silvestro; her son Andrew Vitale, Jr.; and her brother John Silvestro.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Cannamela (Vito) and Frank Vitale; her grandsons, Justin and Brendan Cannamela (Emily Miksa); her brother Michael Silvestro (Connie); and her pet Mindy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Frances Cabrini Church (57 Pond Hill Rd, North Haven, CT 06473).
