With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maria Cruz of Meriden, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Santos Cruz and Herminia Cruz (Ramos); her son Willie Diez De Andino; and her siblings, Carmen Resto and David Cruz.
She is survived by: her sons, Angel Diez De (Sahily) and Francisco Rodriguez (Kholiswa Mbete) of Naugatuck; her grandchildren, Anthony Diez De Andino, Jacklyn Diez De Andino, Ashley Diez De Andino, Ethan Rodriguez and Andrew Rodriguez; her brother Santos; her sisters-in-law, Haydee Cruz of Meriden and Naty Cruz of Meriden; and her aunts, Juana Oquendo of Meriden and Ana Pacheco of New Jersey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christian Pentecostal Church (60 Liberty St, Meriden, CT 06451). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
