She was predeceased by: her mother Maria J. Cangas; her siblings, Gallego Horta and Marta Horta; her grandson Alex Ortiz; and her great grandchild Hector Ortiz Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Manuela Jorge; and her grandchildren, Hector Ortiz, Madelin Ortiz and Danaliz Jorge. She is also survived by her seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (250 Gypsy Ln, Meriden, CT 06450).
