He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paluszewski and Rose Paluszewski; and his siblings, Walter (Mary), Edward and Barbara (William Allen).

He is survived by: his wife Diane Paluszewski (Martancik); his sons, David and Paul (Michelle); his granddaughter Maddison; and his brother-in-law David Martancik (Andrea).

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stanislaus Church (82 Akron St, Meriden, CT 06450).

“We send our deepest sympathies to Diane and the family. A fond memory is Joe and his brothers performing at our wedding in 1974. It was also a pleasure for both of us to work with Joe at Platt High School. He was always friendly and helpful.
