With solemn reverence, we commemorate John Mantzaris of Meriden, Connecticut, whose life came to an end on February 1, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Mantzaris and Mary Mantzaris (Thanopoulos); his brother Louis Mantzaris; his sisters-in-law, Gail Mantzaris and Jean Mantzaris (Audisio); and his friend Mario Parisi.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Mantzaris (Dighello); his children, John Mantzaris (Ann) of Wallingford and Mary Mantzaris of Meriden; his siblings, Despina Deegan (Robert) of Meriden, Adam Mantzaris of Madison and Christopher "Leo" Mantzaris (Marilyn) of West Newbury, MA; his grandchildren, Devin, Paige and Robert Mantzaris; and his friend Al Fordiani. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wallingford Funeral Home (809 N Main Street Ext, Wallingford, CT 06492). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Church (84 N Colony St, Wallingford, CT 06492). The military honors was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location.
