John J. Mik Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Mik Jr. of Meriden, Connecticut, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John J. Mik Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Mik, Sr. and Bernice Mik (Stefanowitz); his sister Barbara Mik; and his brother-in-law James Rowley. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mik (Amann); his sons, John Mik (Liz Kametz) and Brian (Sarah Mik); his siblings, Rita Rowley of Meriden, Paul Mik of Meriden and Charles Mik (Cheryl) of Durham; his grandchildren, Brianna, Drew, Grace, Jordyn, Leah, Aidan and Jonah; and his siblings-in-law, David, Jean Amann, John and Cheryl Penwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mount Carmel Church (109 Goodwill Ave, Meriden, CT 06451).
