It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Horacio Mercado of Meriden, Connecticut, who passed away on October 19, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Horacio departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Horacio. Though Horacio may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Mercado and Emiliana Burgos Mercado. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Pérez Mercado; his children, Rosa Rentas (Angel) of Meriden, Heriberto Mercado of Arizona and Horacio Mercado Jr. (Judy) of Meriden; and his grandchildren, Stefen Mercado, Jean Carlos Mercado, Alec Rentas and Coralyn Rentas.
A prayer was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Beecher & Bennett Funeral Service - Meriden (48 Cook Ave, Meriden, CT 06451).
