She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Sakelarakis and James Sakelarakis; and her brother Louis Sakelarakis. She is survived by: her daughters, Effie (Ron Rice) and Leni (Costas Grossomanides); her grandchildren, Jennifer Istas, Phillip (Jennifer Leonard), Nicholas Grossomanides and Alex Grossomanides (Zosia); her great grandchildren, Taylor (Andrew Badamo), Liv, Brynn Leonard and Georgia Grossomanides; her nieces, Elaine Thibodeu and Penny DiLeo; and her godchildren, Angie Christodlous, Peter Ladas, Gregory Medes and Michael Esposito. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church (301 W Main St, New Britain, CT 06052). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
