He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Rosa and Ramon Diaz. He is survived by: his wife Fernanda Ortiz; his children, Evelyn Diaz, Lydia Diaz, Ivonne Diaz-Tolentino, Teresa Laureano-Avila (Gilberto Avila), Ernesto Diaz, Franki Pamales, Angel Fantuzzi, Fernando Diaz (Karely), Daniel Diaz, Alex Diaz, Francisco Diaz, Emmanuel Diaz (Taneisha) and Ramon Ortiz; and his siblings, Lydia Diaz Ortiz, Amanda Rivera, Jimmy Diaz and Cecilio Diaz. He is also survived by 38 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
