He was predeceased by: his parents, Sixto Cardona and Mercedes Cardona; and his siblings, Fundador, Sixto Jr., Maria Luisa and Hilda.
He is survived by: his wife Gilda Cardona; his children, Elyna, David, Michael, Louis Perillo, Ixsia Martell-Cardona and Lizbeth Cardona; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Alex, Michael, Gisele, Reese and Miles; and his siblings, Ramon, Heriberto, Enrique, Norma and Miguel.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (35 Center St, Meriden, CT 06450). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Raul's memory to St. Rose of Lima Church in Meriden, CT.
